System Integration and Testing (LTE Small Cell):

LTE-Small-cell is fully 3GPP complaint supporting all features including SON,RRM and all other features supporting FDD and TDD modes and compatible with commercial UE’s and data cards. LTE-Small-cell is end to end solution of LTE base station which can support upto 32Users with various bandwidth support like 5/10/15/20MHz.

Closely working with Development team for debugging issues and performing stability and feature testing which includes:

·  Integration of Small-cell L1-L2-L3 software on Qualcomm FSM9900/9955  and validating with Qualcomm mobiles, commercial mobiles like ARCHOS, NEXUS and AeroFlex UE

·  Feature and regression Testing for  LTE Small cell using iperf

·  Testing Volte features with IPV4 and IPV6

·  Volte call with femto to Femto Handovers

·  Testing of Emergency calls

·  Throughput testing

·  Testing of CMAS features using EXFO

2.                     Consultant Engineer – Qualcomm Technologies Inc. San Diego, CA [October 2013 - Nov 2014]                                                                     

IMS/Volte Framework Development:

Working on IMS stack development on modem processor which includes development and feature enhancements in Voice over LTE (Volte) framework.

 

· Fixing various bugs reported by customers and internal test team

·                        Handling conference scenarios.

·                        Customization according to vendors.

·                        QoS enhancements for dedicated bearer handling.

·                        Development of unit test framework (UTF) for various Volte scenarios including conferencing.

·                        Porting features across various customer product lines and across different targets like 8974, 8939 and 8960.

·                        Testing features on various targets, lab setup (ICE, IWF and TBS servers etc.).

a.          LTE-E-UTRAN Protocol Stack simulation

This project involves the design and development of LTE-E-UTRAN protocol stack for    3GPP Rel 7.

·   Design, Development and testing of NAS protocol defined by 24.301 specification 

·   Contributed in implementing EMM(Evolved Mobility Management ) and ESM(Evolved Session Management) messages.

·   Design and Development of GUI for UE, eNodeB and MME using GTK+2.0

·   Unit Testing and fixing issues related to NAS module

b.        SIP Protocol Compliance Testing of Third Party Tools:

SIP (session initiation protocol) is a signaling protocol for real time communication applications such as Voice over IP (VOIP).

SIP is an application layer protocol for creating, Modifying and terminating session.

The scope of the project was:

·  Writing the test cases with respect to the RFC 3261

·  Verifying the behavior of SJ Phone, Mercuro IMS client with respect to RFC 3261 in third party tool.

Role and Responsibility: Development of Volte Test cases and testing.
